Comment  :  I saw the original Spirit LIVE in Green Bay several years ago, and fell in love with the music. When I saw the Spirit 7th Fire had been in Milwaukee recently, and I missed it, I was very upset. Upon finally getting the DVD all I can say is I can't wait to see it live! The DVD is awesome, and you have all done a wonderful job. Please continue the tour!

Comment  :  I just watched the SPIRIT DVD and what a wonderful experience... simply, poetry in motion. I love that I can see close ups of all the facial expressions, dance steps and the musicians in the background. I saw the show in D.C. and once again I'm greatly impressed by the poignant, spiritual message, beautiful projections, music, choreography and dancing. A fantastic performance by everyone! Chief Hawk Pope's voice is mesmerizing. Brandon, the intensity and tenderness you bring to the character is deeply moving. Bravo!!
Looking forward to seeing the show again.

Comment  :  Just received the DVD of Spirit - the 7th Fire a couple of days ago and its almost like being at the show in person. I've read every entry in the guestbook here and its amazing to me that everyone feels the same way about the show that I do. We (my daughter and I) saw it twice in Philadelphia and we just fell in love with the cast and the whole production. Such a sadness for us when you left, we selfishly wanted to keep you here because we connected with you so very much. The show was wonderful and everyone in it so talented. Thank you for sharing your Spirit with all of us.

Comment  :  I bought the original CD to SPIRIT today even though I haven't seen the show yet. I just adore the music. I will have to buy the new one and also get a membership--I hope that SPIRIT resumes tours soon because it was unfortunate that I missed it the last time it was here in Milwaukee WI

Comment  :  Your wonderful show has rekindled in me a longing to know about that of my life I have been cut off from. Grandmom was fullblood but NEVER spoke of her life before she married my Grandfather. Twenty years ago I metHarry Two Cows. he joined my blood with his and gave me the name Two Bears. Much to my heartach and sorrow Harry succumbed to drug addiction not to long after. For many years I have felt like I didn't belong anywhere. Thank you for opening my eyes just a little bit. I may still be lost, but at least now I know there is a destination. I had never cryed at a theatrical performance before. I went to the next to and last performance and both times the tears flowed unchecked. Even now (Nov. 30, 05) as I listen to the CD of the show in Phila. I can not hold back the tears...but like Gandalf said in "Lord of the Ringd" all tears are not an evil. Again, from the bottom of my heart thank you.

Comment  :  What a wonderful project! I recently ran into an old accquaintance, who told me that this show is what he's been involved with, and i can't wait for the opportunity to experince it! The show looks magnificent. May spirit and beauty be shared forever! So, sorry about the personal message, but he suggested i write to him here:
Hey Brandon, i'm glad we ran into each other at the Skydome, it's always great to see faces from the past. (i never quite forgot about you) Anyway, i checked out this site and i'm thrilled to see that this is what you've been up to! I was performing for years, too, (taking a break right now) but nothing so special as this :) I'd love to hook up with you sometime so i'm inviting you to the beaches. Or wherever ;)
bright, shiny blessings to you
~Gail~

Comment  :  Wow! I am such a fan of Reynaldo Lujan so this is thrilling for me. He is an awesome drummer and I am grateful for any chance to see and hear him. I have not yet seen anyone of his talent and I doubt I ever will. I feel blessed to have found out about his music!

Comment  :  I had the priviledge of meeting the dancer Brandon, at Trocodero in Milwaukee months ago. I'm a hula and ballroom dancer and I wished I could have spoken more with him but I was with one of my girlfriends both times and remained pretty quiet... but he left 1/2 bottle of wine for us because we were interested. I've been interested in Native American culture all of my life and never miss an "Indian Summer" festival or intertribal powwow... I hope that SPIRIT returns so that I can go to it because I was unaware of what it was until they packed up to go home. I'm glad I found this site though, and maybe one day I'll have the priviledge to meet Brandon again?

Comment  :  I have wanted to write for so long, but life got in the way. I was fortunate enough to have attended your show several times while it was in Fairmount Park of Philadelphia. It brought me back to my roots as nothing else ever had. I was so profoundly moved by all that I saw and learned. One particularly interesting observation I had was that all of the children I saw attending the show were instantly captured by the music and the story. I never saw a child cry or "act out" during a performance and this was very interesting to me. I saw over 30 children of all ages and environments attend this show. It held true for all. I work with juvenile delinquents, we brough at least 30 of them to the first show and they were captivated. I thank you and pray you will continue the work and soon. Remember us in Philadelphia

Comment  :  Saw the show in DC once, twice in Philly, and hoping that you all will swing on by DC again--got lots of people who would love to see it (as well as those of us who would like to see it again). It is simply an amazing show, and a blessing to all those it touches.

Comment  :  Greetings brothers and sisters. I saw Spirit the 7th fire in Washingotn, DC at the opening for the National American Indian museum. I am an african american woman who can trace thier roots back to my great grandmother and great grandfather who are cherokkee and blackfeet. I had an awakening during the performance. The music was playing but the Great Spirit was speaking to me with 'words'. The performance was sold out. But the great spirit told me to attend on that Friday. I walked from the Capitol straight to the ticket booth, looking neither to the right/or left. They told me they were sold out and to go stand in 1 of 3 lines for a chance to get a ticket to an already sold out event. I went to stand in line. I was approached by a lady who said she saw the Great Spirit who I call God all over me as I walked down to a show I knew was sold out. She said I had purpose and she saw that . She gave me an extra ticket to get in. All I can say to my people - both african american and american indian - COME HOME. COME HOME. The great spirit is calling you. You and your GIFT. Don't miss the 2006 show. Love. Peace to all and find the Truth of YOURSELF in YOUR GIFT!

Comment  :  We saw the show twice in Philadelphia. Once wasn't enough. It has really opened my eyes up to what our real history is here in the U.S. It was educational as well as being entertaining. I loved all the dancers and the music, but Rudy Youngblood absolutely transports you. I could watch him dance every minute of every day for the rest of my life! I think there should be a fan club site for the people in the show so you can keep track of what they're up to. I hope the DVD comes out also (we bought the CD and play it all the time). Then I guess I can watch Rudy dance over and over :-) Spirit-The Seventh Fire was a magical experience. Thanks to everyone that made it happen (Peter Buffett and all the cast, musicians and crew) and I hope this hiatus is a temporary one.

Comment  :  I heard a brief interview on xpn and knew I wanted to experience the spirit show. We sat in the first row and were totally blown away by the skills and emotions portrayed. They touched our soul and the message is so clear. Many thanks to everyone for bringing this extraordinary show to Philadelphia. I've told so many people about it and everyone wants to see it. Hopefully it will open again in the near future so others can experience it too. And we would go again too. Congratulations!
